Marine big data fast display platform based on spatio-temporal integration

  • The rapid visualization of Marine Big Data plays an important role during the marine informatization process.Marine Big Data features multi-source, multi-class and multi-dimension, which brings about extra more technical challenges to quickly display Marine Big Data.From the comprehensive view of time and space dimension, a fast data visualization platform for Marine Big Data is devised and implemented in this paper.To initialize it, we realize the data preprocessing based on ontology driven to respond to semantic heterogeneity characteristic of marine data; meanwhile, PLR_LM algorithm is adopted to achieve compression and dimensionality reduction of marine time series data on time dimension; Multi-resolution pyramid model is introduced to deal with the layering and block processing of spatial marine data on spatial dimension.Our proposed platform can both effectively improve the speed of data visualization and provide the assurance of data visualization precision, which aims to present a new solution for marine industry researchers to embark on rapid data visualization.
