The evaluation of carrying capacity of marine resources and environment is an important way to balance the relationship of economy, resources and environment near coastal zone.The evaluation of carrying capacity of marine resources and environment also is a technical method of marine sustainable development.It's necessary to construct a quantitative evaluation method of carrying capacity of marine resources and environment.Based on comprehensive weighting methods, an evaluation method of carrying capacity of marine resources and environment is built.A case study in coastal ocean near Yangtze River Economic Belt is conducted with the evaluation of carrying capacity for marine resources and environment.There are 43 counties as the units of the evaluation.The results show that the comprehensive weighting methods is better than the analytic hierarchy process and the entropy method to calculate the weight.Composite scores of the evaluation of carrying capacity are got for every unit of the evaluation.The carrying capacity of marine resources and environment of Lianyungang and Yancheng is good.
