Abstract:
Due to the increasing demand for energy, nuclear power projects have been gradually extended to sea ice regions.Sea ice is the primary environmental disaster cause in sea activities.During the operation of nuclear power plants in sea ice regions, it is necessary to prevent the access of water from being interrupted by sea ice disasters. In this paper, according to the monitoring requirements of sea ice projects, we analyzed the advantages of optical videos in monitoring sea ice floes in particular small regions. Moreover, based on the theoretical framework of ice disaster risk assessment, and the information management process, we preliminarily designed the video-based monitoring and analysis system of sea ice of nuclear power projects in sea ice region. After the completion of the system, combined with real-time monitoring data and risk assessment database, the system can quickly send early warning information of the blockage risk of cooling water source and provide the decision basis for timely and effective disaster prevention measures for enterprises and relevant sectors.
