Abstract:
The remote sensing reflectance and the concentration of total suspended matter (TSM) in Xiamen bay are achieved. The retrieval models of TSM in Xiamen bay are built after the spectrum of remote sensing reflectance is analyzed, as well as the characteristic bands or band combination. Different methods and models are applied to testify the relationship between the remote sensing reflectance and TSM concentration. We find that the model of reflectance peak area is the best one to retrieve TSM concentration in Xiamen bay. The determination coefficient is 0.66 and the retrieval
RMSE error is 10.25mg/L with the relative error of 7.79mg/L, when the reflectance peak area is applied to retrieve TSM in Xiamen bay.
