Abstract:
To explore the toxic effects with a Cr(VI) exposure period (fifteen days) and elimination period (fifteen days) in hepatopancreas and gill of Portunus trituberculatus, the activities of antioxidant enzyme (SOD),concentration of lipid peroxidation levels (LPO) and metallothioneins (MTs)were studied. The results showed that the activities of SOD,concentration of MDA and MTs were higher than the control group level(P0.05) significantly after fifteen days with 1.50 mg/L and 0.30 mg/L exposure concentrations, after evacuation period, both groups could resume to the command level (P0.05).The results of this experiment indicated that both hepatopancreasand gill of P.trituberculatus possessed resume capacity, the time to reach the peak valuein gillof the activities of SOD,concentration of MDA and MTswas shorter than in hepatopancreas, but the peak value was lower than in hepatopancreas, the recovery timeof gill was shorter than that of hepatopancreas.
