Abstract:
In order to improve the scientificity and accuracy of marine environmental pollution management and control, considering the current pollution situation in marine environment of China, environmental priority pollutants in seawater of China were recommended based on improved COMMPS and DYNAMEC methods of EU. Taking the chemicals in lists of priority control of China and pollutants concerned by international marine conservation organizations as candidate substances, the DYNAMEC and COMMPS methods were improved from the scoring of pollutants for human health effect. The screening method of marine environmental priority pollutants based on environmental exposure index, environmental effect index and priority index was established. A total of 68 environmental priority pollutants in seawater of China were recommended through the primary screening process of persistence-bioaccumulation-toxicity and the secondary screening process of priority ranking. These priority pollutants include 11 metals and metalloid compounds, 11 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, 8 organic halides, 24 pesticides and 14 other organic compounds, covering new pollutants such as bisphenol A, nonylphenol and organophosphorus esters. Our results are expected to provide important methodological support for the pollution issue identification, formulation and revision of marine environmental criteria and standards, risk assessment and pollution control of toxic and hazardous chemicals in different marine environments, , and to provide scientific references for marine ecological environment management.
