Abstract:
In order to understand the treatment effect of “three ponds and two dams” as multi-stage process on the wastewater from
Litopenaeus vannamei industrialized mariculture, a
Litopenaeus vannamei industrialized mariculture cooperative in Yantai, Shandong Province was used as an experimental base. Within one culture cycle of
Litopenaeus vannamei, the water quality of the culture ponds, sedimentation ponds, aeration ponds and biological treatment ponds were monitored once a week, and a total of ten monitoring measurements was conducted. The results showed that the wastewater discharged from the mariculture process was severely eutrophic. Moreover, the average value of the eutrophication index (
E) of the wastewater decreased by 93.5% after the multistage treatment of “three ponds and two dams” compared with that before treatment. In addition, 57.5% of the total amount of pollutants in the wastewater of one culture cycle was eliminated. The ranking of the average elimination rate of each monitoring parameter is: DIP>DIN>TSS>TP>TN>COD.
