Abstract:
Due to the extensive use and even abuse of antibiotics in different areas, unused antibiotics enter the environment through different routes, leading to an increase in the spread of Antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARBs) and Antibiotic-resistant genes (ARGs). As a new environmental pollutant, ARGs has been paid more and more attention and has become a global environmental issue. This article reviewed the occurrence of ARGs in marine and island environments in China, analyzed the characteristic differences of ARGs between island environment and coastal ocean environment, and puts forward some suggestions on the research on ARGs on the island (Hainan Island).
